Our aim is to support each student to become an engaged learner in a Catholic community – a feeler, a thinker, a creator, a problem solver and a doer. Our focus on diverse learning is founded in research and we believe that there must be clearly stated, collaboratively constructed goals and success criteria and supported by teachers and parents to support the development of all our learners.
We focus on the individual needs of our learners. With focused success and established teams in both Gifted Education and Special Education, St. Catherines is a centre for diverse learning. Well established programs and structures are designed by trained and experienced staff to support the varying needs of all our students.
Our programs include:
- a well defined, balanced curriculum that involves students in purposeful, relevant and challenging activities.
- opportunities for each child to reach his or her full potential across a range of different areas.
- opportunities for children to embrace their faith.
